Boys Varsity Football · 2020 June Football Workout Information


As we begin our responsible football re-start it is essential that parents and students complete all necessary paperwork and pay close attention and adhere to all health and distancing guidelines.

Players and/or parents MUST complete the Student Waiver and have a current physical:

Student Waiver:  Hard copies will be available on Monday, but it is preferred that players come with this completed.  Athletes will not be permitted to participate or remain on campus without it.

*Current Physical:  Physicals are good for one Calendar year.  Our trainer will have a list of students and their physical status.  Minute Clinics, Kroger, The Little Clinic, etc. offer them on short notice.  The Little Clinic (www.thelittleclinic.com / 614-335-0030) currently has them for $29.

Players will report to the concession stand at the football stadium and must bring:

*Their own personal water container (filled- They will not be permitted to refill at school and cannot share).

*A mask that must be worn when not participating in drills or actively recovering.

*Cleats and indoor athletic shoes.

Distancing / Pods:  Players will be grouped into pods that they will remain with as much as possible until further notice.  These pods will be posted on this site before the 8th as well as shared through the Players’ Google class and Team Snap.  If you do not see your name in a Pod for your timeslot, please email Coach White (trevor.white@swcsd.us)

Below is the schedule for the month of June for Pre-Season Conditioning Workouts (Note:  It is still a fluid situation and dates, times, and protocols are subject to change).

June 8, 11, 15, 18 (Mondays and Thursdays):  Upcoming Seniors and Juniors 8 to 9 am, Upcoming Sophomores and Freshmen 9 to 10am.

June 22, 23, 25, 29, 30:  Workouts (Specific Times TBA).

Parents, please stress with your son the importance of following all guidelines.  This includes distancing on arrival and departure.  Players need to make sure they adhere to these protocols the entire time they are on school property.
